Dilip Kumar’s health update he is doing better continues to be in ICU. Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, admitted to Hinduja Hospital on Tuesday, is stable and showing signs of improvement. The actor was hospitalized after complaining of shortness of breath.
The source told indianexpress.com on Friday afternoon that the 98-year-old actor is doing better than before.
“Dilip Kumar is doing a lot better and is stable. He continues to work in the ICU, so doctors can monitor him on a regular basis. Due to his old age and health problems similar to the fact that he was hospitalized last month, his family thinks he is better off going home after being hospitalized for a while and fully recovering. Doctors are treating him and will take his call for further treatment.”
“He’s stable,” Faisal Faroki, a family friend of the veteran actor, also told PTI. He stays in the hospital on the advice of his doctor so that he can get the care he needs depending on his age. The family believes he will be discharged in a day or two.”
Previously, he tweeted on Dilip Kumar’s Twitter and thanked people for their prayers.
The tweet read: “Dilip Saab was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Khar at the age of 98 to address a medical problem related to a frequently anticipated disease. Your love and prayers are sincerely appreciated by Saab-Faisal Farooqui.”
This is the second time the actor has been transported to the hospital. He was admitted to the same hospital after complaining of shortness of breath on June 6, and several health indicators were found to be poor. The actor was given oxygen support at the time and a successful pleural aspiration procedure was performed. He was discharged on June 11.
