Salman khan directly transfers rs 1500 to cine workers’ accounts as financial support. MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was one of those Bollywood actors last year who transferred money directly to the accounts of workers working in the film industry.
Again this year, Salman Khan has transferred 1500 rupees into the bank account of an unemployed film worker due to the coronavirus outbreak and the resulting closure.
Salman once again respected his dedication and this labor came from different departments of the union. BN Tiwari, president of West India Cine Employees Coalition (FWICE), praises actor Radhe. He said: “Salman Khan is one of the great actors in Bollywood who continued to help us whenever we needed any support.
He helped our members in the first lockdown and we thank him too. He said he will continue to help our workers in the future.” In addition, Salman Khan previously distributed food packets to frontline workers through philanthropy.
In 2020, Salman Khan transferred funds into the accounts of nearly 25,000 daily wage workers. He paid 3000 rupees. One of the industry’s deputy directors even shared a screenshot of a bank statement.
He said, “Dear @BeingSalmanKhan, unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to work with you and are on your team, but you still don’t know them and I am providing financial support for the thousands of people who work in the film industry. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to all of us.”
