Naseeruddin shah admitted to the hospital suffering from pneumonia. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai Kar after being diagnosed with pneumonia. The 70-year-old actor was transported to the hospital on June 29 and is recovering.
Naseeruddin Shah’s manager confirmed the news to indianexpress.com.
“The teacher was hospitalized on June 29, but he is doing well now. You have a patch of pneumonia in your lungs and treatment is ongoing. He can be discharged today or tomorrow,” he said.
Actor Ratna Pathak Shah, the wife of Naseeruddin Shah, said in a major publication that the actor should be discharged from the hospital by tomorrow. “He’s perfectly fine,” she told Pinkvilla. There are small patches in the lungs that are healing. He must be discharged by tomorrow.”
“It’s pneumonia, but fortunately it’s very small and in one corner, so I hope it doesn’t require more work,” she added. The actor last appeared in The Tashkent Files by Vivek Agnihotri, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi by Seema Pahwa, and Mee Raqsam by Zee5.
