Houston teen crashes parents’ SUV into house after police chase

A teenager who led a Houston police officer in a short chase crashed home early Tuesday morning.

According to Lt. C. Larry Crowson of the Houston Police Department, a Houston police officer found a white SUV around 1 am near Sabo Road and South Beltway 8. Crowson said the police officer tried to congest, but later the driver, identified as a 15-year-old boy, speeded up.

The teenagers changed the south to 12100 blocks on Kikholm Street, with a short chase through the neighborhood. Not knowing that the road was a dead end, Crowson said, a teenager walked the end of the road and jumped over the curb before falling home from the end of the road.

Some residents were in the house but walked safely. Crowson said the teenager was detained quickly.

Crowson said the SUV is registered as a teenage parent and has not been reported stolen. The police think their teens would have picked up their car without their parents' secrets.

I'm not sure what the charges teens will face.
