Won’t go back without PM’s resignation: Rahbar Committee Convener

ISLAMABAD: Representative of the Rahbar Council, Akram Durrani, said on Wednesday that those who attended the march demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Khan and would not go back without him.

In a statement, Durani urged the government not to create obstacles for those who participated in the Azadi parade. Durrani said he had not contacted Senator Sadiq Sanjrani or Defense Minister Pervaiz Khattak.

"In fact they were the people who contacted me."

He said that the JUI-F leadership would not see government representatives without the Lava Committee.

“Maulana Fazlur Rehman will not meet Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.

JUI-F is organizing a long march across the government on 27 October across the country. The party said the march may or may not be protesting against the government on October 31.

Prime Minister JUI-F Fazl said the march would only end when Khan's government fell. The government, on the other hand, accused Pazel of seducing people and using the Masurrea students for a long march.

Fazl called for Khan to go home after being accused of economic problems. Meanwhile, Khan and his cabinet warned that strict measures would be taken against those who had the law in their hands.
