KDW doubles Houston headquarters with modern office makeover


KDW, a Houston-based company responsible for the design and construction of large corporate, industrial, educational and recreational facilities, has completed the renovation and expansion of its headquarters.

This extension doubled the office size of 5858 Westheimer's office near the Fountain View from 14 floors to 14,444 square feet, adding four improvisational workspaces and four meeting rooms with wall-to-wall monitors for live design sessions.

Keith Dalton, chairman of KDW, said, “The entire layout facilitates collaboration, regardless of the stage of the project. "Our new open atmosphere allows our design, pre-build, project management, office management and accounting departments to interact with each other easily."

KDW provides real estate development, concept estimation, in-house design, construction management and project management services.

The project includes a 350,000-square-foot manufacturing headquarters in NOV Oil & Gas, a 600,000-square-foot Sugar Land campus in Accredo Packaging, a 320,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility in AIV and Gulf Coast Modification, and a 704,000-square-foot Goya Foods campus. Typhoon Texas Water Park in Katy and Pflugerville. He has also worked on several projects at Stephen F. Austin State University.
