Houston’s on Westheimer has abruptly closed


Houston Westheimer Suddenly closed on the weekend and the four-year relationship with the Houston restaurant is over.

On Houston's website, "Houston on Weststoneer Road on their parents closed their service after nearly 40 years." "Thank you for the privilege of serving you for the last 40 years."

Another Houston location, 4848 Kirby, remains open.

A Hillstone spokesman stated in the company:

“Out of reasonable control, we were unable to comply with standards at Westheimer in Houston. After closing, we focus on Houston's 4848 Kirby Dr. to continually provide our customers with the high level of quality and service we expect. ”


The company did not comment further.

5888 Westheimer's Houston received final service on Friday. One of several brands owned by Hillstone, including Bandera, Hillstone, Honor Bar, and East Hampton Grill. Houston's menu is famous for its spinach and artichoke dips, grilled chicken salads, Thai steak and noodle salads, house burgers, French rib french dips, fried shrimps, rotisserie chicken and grilled ribs.
