Govt takes first step for contacting JUI-F

ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Pervez Khattak said on Thursday he sent a message to Jamaat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, who announced March of Azadi, which starts from October 27.

Katak was recently commissioned by Prime Minister Imran Khan to lead a four-member committee to gain access to the opposition and JUI-F on the March issue. This is the first contact between the two sides.

Pakistan's chief leader, Te Khri-i-Insaf, said the purpose of this message was to measure and negotiate the other party's agenda.

In the same vein, Khattak said PM's call for resignation was & # 39; laughable and there would be no conversation about it.

The PTI leader said the government did not prefer to use force.

Fazl said that those who participated in his march would enter Islamabad on October 31.

The party announced that it would hold a protest on October 27 and sought permission from local authorities for a meeting near D-Chowk in Islamabad.

Fazl said that before entering Islamabad on October 31, participants from the Azadi March nationwide would gather near Tarnol.
