Islamabad: On Monday, the cybercrime court ruled on a petition ruling filed by the Federal Investigation Agency.
The FIA prosecution has notified the court that the terrorist clause has been added to the prosecution of the judge, and, according to law, the case can be sent to ATC.
The court heard both sides and withheld the verdict on the petition.
Malik, who convicted ex-Nawaz Sharif in the corruption case of Al-Azizia Steel Mills, became the center of controversy after PML-N Maryam Nawaz vice president made an explosive claim to the responsible judge.
At a press conference in July, Maryam allegedly convicted Nawaz by airing a video Malik confessed to PML-N supporter Nasir Butt. She demanded the Al-Azizia verdict be overturned and said that the entire judicial process was severely damaged.
Malik, who denied Maryam's claims, was repatriated to the parent department, Lahore High Court (LHC).
