The ISLAMABAD – NAB (National Accountability Bureau) has recovered 71 billion rupees, directly or indirectly, from corrupt factors and has been deposited on the country for the past 22 months. This was heard at the meeting.
The ISLAMABAD – NAB (National Accountability Bureau) has recovered 71 billion rupees, directly or indirectly, from corrupt factors and has been deposited on the country for the past 22 months.
It was heard in a meeting held to review NAB's performance from October 2017 to the present, presided over by the Javed Iqbal Justice Department, NAB (National Accountability Bureau) chairman.
NAB Sukkur has recovered 1,0656 billion rupees over the period of time on land.
Similarly, NAB Lahore has recovered 322.3 billion rupees from corrupt factors. NAB Balochistan also recovered 0.949 billion rupees, and NAB Karachi recovered 1,086 billion rupees and deposited them in the land.
NAB Rawalpindi has recovered 14.653 billion rupees and NAB Multan has recovered 2.5 billion rupees from corruption.
NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has recovered 5 billion rupees.
NAB Gilgit-Baltistan has recovered 1,040 billion rupees.
The total amount recovered from corruption was deposited in the state treasury.
NAB's chairman said that eradication of corruption is NAB's top priority and that all resources are being used to achieve its goals, and that all NAB's directors are committed to pursuing all accountability policies to make the best efforts to eradicate corruption in Pakistan. Since closing the case is the NAB's priority and all resources are being used for that purpose, take complaints, inquiries and investigations of logical conclusions within the prescribed time.
