ISLAMABAD – Dr. Arif Alvi said that the best sacrifice given by his family and colleague Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was a victory over humanity and Islamic principles.

In a message about Youm e Ashur, the president said that this day occupied the most important place in Islamic history, on this day Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), the grandson of our holy prophet Hazrat Muhammad, told his family and companions that in the battle of Karbala It accepted martyrdom and made the tragic incident unforgettable until the day of the judgment.

Each year these sacrifices repeated the spirit that Muslims should not hesitate to sacrifice their lives in the face of evil and evil forces.

The President said that because of the supreme sacrifice, our history is always filled with the people who defended the principles of truth and justice.

He emphasized to people to repeat their determination to seek guidance from the highest lessons in the life of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), who raises the bar of truth against the forces of darkness and complete obedience to Islamic doctrine.

In addition to taking all possible steps to prevent terrorism, extremism and intolerance, the president emphasized that he must imitate this best lesson in his life and strive for national progress and prosperity.

He also prayed for the development and prosperity of the country and to fully adopt Youm-e-Ashur's real message.
