Several celebrities grieved after his wife Rabia Ali confirmed the news of his death.

Born in Quetta, Ali received the prestigious Presidential Prize – Pride of Performance. He has three daughters left, including a llama and a model, actor Iman Ali. He recently appeared with Ali Rehman Khan and Hareem Farooq in the movie Heer Maan Ja.
Abid Ali joined Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Pakistan in 2018.
