
Islamabad: Foreign Minister Shah Mamud Kuresi arrested Belgian President Didier Raiders on the current situation of India's occupation of Kashmir on Tuesday.
A statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “Kuresi emphasized illegal and unilateral measures taken by the Indian government to change the status of the disputes and demographic structure of IOK.
He added that these steps violate the IOK and the UN Security Council resolution on international law.
Qureshi also stressed that New Delhi has gradually returned from the promises associated with the occupied valley.
He stressed that New Delhi's actions were "a serious risk to local security." He also highlighted the difficulties faced by the Kasmiris people who faced an unprecedented closure.
"Qureshi also warned of the deterioration of the basic human rights, safety and security situation of people living in Jammu and Kashmir, Indians who have been banned since August 5, 2019."
Radar expressed concern about the human rights situation in the Himalayan valley.
He reaffirmed that further expansion will seriously affect the peace and security of the region, and is ready to continue working to play a promotional role.
The two leaders agreed to continue to work together for peace and stability in the region.
