PM Imran calls on Pakistanis to partake in Kashmir Hour today to send message of solidarity – Pakistan

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday called on all Pakistanis to participate in "Kashmir Time", which is observed on Friday at 12 p.m., to send a strong message of solidarity to the cashmere.

"I want all Pakistanis to leave tomorrow from 12 noon to 12.30 p.m. M. To show solidarity with the people of Kashmir and send to the Kashmir cashmere occupied by India a clear message that the entire Pakistani nation is in solidarity with they and against the Indian fascist oppression, the 24-day inhuman curfew, the daily wounds and murders of Kashmir civilians, including women and children, all part of the Modi government's ethnic cleansing agenda and its illegal annexation of IoK "said the prime minister via Twitter.

"The plan to change the demography of IoK is a war crime under the 4th Geneva Convention.

"We must send a strong message to the cashmere that our nation is decidedly behind them. So I ask all Pakistanis for half an hour tomorrow, stop whatever they are doing and go on the road to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir. " urged.

The government of India, led by the Hindu nationalist party Bharatiya Janata, decided on August 5 to repeal article 370 of the Indian constitution, which granted Kashmir the special status occupied. The government instituted a security blockade and a communications blackout to prevent violence. The repression is now on its 25th day.

Addressing the nation in occupied Kashmir on Monday, Prime Minister Imran announced that an event will be held every week to show solidarity with the people of Kashmir, starting on Friday (August 30) between 12 p.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The prime minister, trusting the nation about the government's strategy regarding occupied Kashmir after India's revocation of Article 370, had promised that Pakistan would "do everything possible" to support the cause of the oppressed people of Kashmir.

On Wednesday, the general director of public relations between services (ISPR), general of general division Asif Ghafoor, said that, according to the announcement of the prime minister about Kashmir time, the sirens will sound at 12 noon and will be played the national anthem and the Kashmir anthem throughout the country.

According to Pakistan Radio, "all people and vehicles will stop" when the national anthems sound.

The prime minister and the main ministers along with the parliamentarians will lead the nation by presenting themselves in front of their respective secretariats and office buildings, he said Pakistan Radio, after Friday prayers, special prayers would be offered for the people of Kashmir.
