Microsoft released the Windows 10 update at the end of last month as part of the May 2019 Windows update. This update is voluntary and will not connect automatically unless the user manually allows it.
However, this update caused some serious problems with the Bluetooth connection, and Microsoft was aware of this and provided a workaround for the query.
In the Windows 10 update, some users may have trouble connecting their PC with Bluetooth speakers. Even if the speakers are connected, the sound output is noisy and of poor quality.
In some cases, the PC will play audio through internal speakers instead of paired Bluetooth devices.
“We also saw an item in the Device Manager showing a yellow 쾅 (exclamation point) icon in sound, video, and game controller modes for the Microsoft Bluetooth A2dp source.
This is not the first time that a Windows 10 user has a problem with a Bluetooth connection. Another Windows 10 1903 update was released this year, disconnecting some users. Microsoft has intentionally added connectivity issues to keep the platform secure.
“These security updates address security vulnerabilities by preventing connections to unsecured Bluetooth devices through unintended Windows connections,” Microsoft said.
