Islamabad: To help the government implement its initiative to combat climate change and its impacts, the German Embassy staff in Islamabad distributed cloth bags to citizens as an alternative to polyethylene shopping bags.

On Tuesday, the Embassy's official Twitter account posted several photos of employees welcomed by citizens in different locations in the federal capital.
Photos of schools, bazaars, and parking lots show citizens receiving a thousand bags from the German Embassy staff.
