Cities across the country were paralyzed around noon on Friday when tens of thousands of people took to the streets in a demonstration of solidarity led by the government with occupied Kashmir, after India revoked its autonomy earlier this month.

The Pakistani national anthem and a Kashmir anthem were heard on television and radio, while traffic stopped and trains stopped as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan's campaign to draw global attention to the plight of the situation. Himalayan occupied region.
